Backed By Research. Driven By Compassion.
Known by lived Experience.
For many women, especially single mothers, every dollar matters.
When we're trying to pay rent, keep the lights on, put gas in the car, buy groceries, cover school expenses, and make sure your children have what they need, feminine hygiene products can become one more expense that stretches an already tight budget.
Many women quietly make difficult choices every month. Some wear products longer than recommended. Some settle for lower-quality products they don't prefer. Some go without other necessities just to afford what they need. It's a struggle that often goes unseen because most women don't talk about it.
The reality is simple: Feminine hygiene products are not a luxury. They are a necessity. Every woman deserves access to the products she needs to feel comfortable, confident, and cared for.
More than 500 million women and girls globally lack adequate menstrual hygiene management, according to peer-reviewed public health research published through the U.S. National Library of Medicine. Researchers have found that inadequate menstrual support negatively impacts education, confidence, mental health, employment, and daily participation in society. Studies also show that menstrual stigma continues to create shame, embarrassment, and social isolation for millions of women and young girls around the world.
We believe feminine hygiene is not a luxury. It's a basic necessary essential.
Building Confidence... and changing the way we talk about feminine hygiene.
This Mission Is Personal To Me.
"I remember being a young teenage girl and needing help myself. There were times when we simply could not afford good feminine hygiene products, and I was too embarrassed to talk about it with anyone. Sometimes I used wrapped paper towels just to get through the day quietly and hope nobody noticed.
I thank God my periods were not heavy when I was younger, but it was still hard. I remember wishing my mother could afford better pads and tampons so I could do simple things like swimming during the summer.
That's one of the reasons this mission matters so deeply to me. I just feel like good feminine hygiene products shouldn't be hard to get or out of reach for so many girls and women. This shouldn't have so many women and girls carrying so much shame about it.
I often imagine being a homeless teen and not having these basic feminine necessities readily available. Growing up we were never homeless, but eviction was many times a monthly fear. No woman or mensurating girl should have to suffer in silence, feel ashamed, or miss out on life because of something so basic and necessary."
